Napnix · Practical sleep tools

Toddler Sleep Schedule Generator

Build a visual starting point around your usual morning and nap. This tool creates an example schedule, not the bedtime your child needs. Choose ‘sometimes naps’ to see a nap day and a no-nap day together.

Build an example day

How the example is constructed

The illustration uses 12 hours of total sleep below age three and 11½ hours from ages three to five. These are selected example values within AASM's broad age ranges, not a validated prediction. It subtracts the entered nap from that illustrative total and works backwards from the next morning, assumed to match the usual wake.

Why there is a window

The shown bedtime range extends 30 minutes on either side of the illustrative time. That one-hour width is a display choice, not a confidence interval. It does not model time to fall asleep or night wakings. A target bedtime is shown separately and never changes the calculation.

What to do with a difficult fit

If the nap ends very close to the calculated bedtime, the tool highlights that conflict rather than postponing bedtime as if it knew the answer. Daycare or home identifies the setting but does not change the sleep arithmetic.

What to track for the next 7 days

  • How the example differs from actual sleep onset
  • Which days include a nap
  • The next morning and known wakings
Track what actually happens for 7 days

You log what happened. Napnix helps you compare days and notice patterns. Seven days starts the record; it does not promise a sleep improvement.
